myself and neil stayed at this hotel on 10th jan 2010. we had a wonderfull time all staff were very helpfull at all times , the maid services were exelant infact all the staff were great. food was realy good and you had a good choice at all meals. room was clean and plenty of clean towels and bedding. we would recamend this hotel to anyone. the hotel gardens are well kept also the pool. i have only one bad thing to say and realy its not the hotel but we sent post cards form hotel and they never arrived so advise dont waste your money on them and stamps, they were posted in a post box at reception dont think they will come now as we have been home since 24th jan 2010. the entertainment was realy good a different show in the thearter everynight we were their for 2 weeks and never seen the same show. all intertainment staff are brill. we will be going back all round raiting 5*

We were very pleased with the staff. They were more than helpful on many occasions. The reception staff helped us many times in the 2 weeks of our vacation. By day 3, most of the waiters and staff knew us by first names.

We stayed at the Melia Cayo Guillermo in September of this year and cannot wait to go back next year. The staff is above all the kindest. Some of the hardest working people around and the resort itself is so beautiful and lush. The service was fantastic and we loved the excursions that we went on. We had absolutely no complaints at all. A vacation is what you make of it and we had such a fun time. We will return with our adult children next October. We tell everyone we know what a wonderful and relaxing place this resort is. Thankyou to all at the Melia Cayo Guillermo! See you soon!

It was absolutely brilliant - service 5-star. Staff does just not know what to do for you - handshake at meals to thank you for coming - lots of food - lots of choices - abundance of seafood - must take catemaran for a day at Pesos 50 this is incredible! - bedroom cleaned punctially - very very hot - do not take much clothes - mosquitoes not a problem if you spray after sunset and very early in am. Hotels are not 5star as you would get elsewhere - so if you are fussy, do not stay in 3/4 star - you will feel building is a bit tired. You must stay at 5 star - but whatever your hotel lacks the staff and sea makes up for it. Lots of watersports - it is just to beautiful to describe - highly recommended. Photos just too spectacular!
I will definitely recommend it. Horseriding a definite no - horseriding equipment old, rusted and cruel - please take donations for horseriding equipment if you want to do something good.

Melia Cayo Guillermo ......Great place to stay. We went to the Melia Cayo Guillermo for our honeymoon and had a great time. The staff, food, pool, surrouindings and beach were fantastic.
